Matt began his career in 2001 and has extensive experience providing accounting, assurance, taxation, and business advisory services to private and public companies and pension plans. He has expertise assisting clients with complex accounting matters. He specializes in standards and quality assurance for the firm, providing technical leadership in International Auditing Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards and Accounting Standards for privately held enterprises.

Matt was previously a member of the Canadian Accounting Standards Board’s IFRS Discussion Group and is a member of the CPABC Public Company Forum and the CPABC Public Practice Committee. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
