Melanie works with the firm’s private enterprise group, where she provides assurance, accounting, and taxation services to owner-managed businesses, private companies, partnerships, and individuals. She has extensive knowledge in private company financial reporting and taxation for corporations and individuals. She works with clients across a number of industries, including professional services, real estate and construction, fishing, and hospitality.

Prior to obtaining her professional designation in 2000, Melanie completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Simon Fraser University.

Outside of work, Melanie devotes considerable personal time to the CPA Western School of Business in many capacities including facilitating modules, coaching other facilitators, and marking case exams. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her two dogs, afternoon tea with friends, and watching movies.
